About Your Host
Hi, I'm Kendall Frey.
I'm a Medi-Cal doula, holistic practitioner, 6-figure business owner, and mentor who is passionate about helping doulas build practices that are both financially sustainable and deeply supportive of their lives.
When Medi-Cal began covering doula services, I brought the same systems-based approach I'd used in my wellness practice into my doula business-and within the first few weeks, I was supporting 10 Medi-Cal clients.
What I later realized was that this wasn't the norm.
Many talented doulas were struggling to find clients, navigate systems, utilize visits, and create consistent income, despite doing incredible work.
Alongside my work as a practitioner, I spent more than five years with a multi-million-dollar business coaching company, helping practitioners grow their businesses through strategy, systems, and implementation.
Today, I bring together both real-world Medi-Cal doula experience and proven business strategy to help doulas build practices with steady referrals, strong utilization, reliable revenue, and the freedom to focus on serving their clients well.
